We're no strangers to windy weather in West Texas, but Sunday's 50 MPH gusts damaged property and made life in general miserable for those who had to be out in it. Many folks posted pictures on their social media sites, like the one above from Bill Bentley. What weather system brought the winds to the area?

National Weather Service

The National Weather Service stated that, 'A strong weather system moving across the eastern plains was responsible.' Overnight, at least 18 people were killed in 3 separate tornado outbreaks in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
