UTPB Appoints New President

UTPB has named its new president and it is Sandra K. Woodley.

According to NewsWest 9, Woodley was a former president of the University of Louisiana System and was voted unanimously as the lone finalist for the position back in March.

Woodley will replace David Watts on September 1, 2017.

Watts has been UTPB president since 2002 and announced back in August of last year that he would step down as president on August 31, 2017.
