The City of Midland last week approved three businesses for alcohol permits and all three will be opening soon.

According to NewsWest 9, all three places provide different forms of entertainment and ways to serve alcohol to its patrons.

First there is Tall City Brewing Company who is just beginning construction of a microbrewery located at 3303 Golf Course Road close to Midkiff.

They will provide customers with their own craft beer in an indoor/outdoor family friendly environment. They plan to open in January 2019.

Second is Coiffures Barber Shop and Salon which is under construction at the Midland Park Mall. Owner Tim Cuevas is already having success in Odessa and wants to bring a new twist to his barber shop and salon in Midland.

"The atmosphere that we've been able to create here in Odessa has a real fun, upscale vibe. The atmosphere is really crazy, so we thought the only thing missing out of there was maybe adding a bar in there," said Cuevas.

Coiffures plans to open in November 2018.

Third is Buffalo Nickel which will be located where Cigar Frogs used to be in downtown Midland.

Buffalo Nickel will be a new craft cocktail bar with a classy, upscale feel and will be open in October 2018.

So there are a few more places to add to your list of places to go and unwind from work or celebrate a birthday with friends.
