In our ongoing efforts to better improve our station's reception and sound quality, we've undertaken the task of repairing our transmitter's antenna. Let's just say, it's no small job.

It takes a lot to keep a radio station on the air and sounding great. Over the last several weeks, you may have noticed from our posts that we have undertaken repairs on one of the many important pieces of equipment to keep our station doing just that; our 8 bay antenna.

It requires for tower climbers, (let's just call them the 'lunatics'), to dismantle then lower the separate parts to the ground. Then hoist a temporary antenna back up the tower and bolt it into place. The 'lunatics' try to do this on nice, sunny, calm days. It doesn't always turn out that way as you can see in the video.

What job do you think people are 'crazy' to do?
