It’s a dilemma every man and woman face in a marriage, at one time or another, maybe several times a week. It can easily bring out the worst in both, all because of a lack of communication. It may be happening with you and your partner, as you read this.
I’m talking of course, of deciding where you’re going to eat that evening. It usually starts out when:
"Where do you want to go out to eat?"
"You want to go eat?"
"I don’t know what you want to go eat!"
"I DON’T KNOW, I ASKED YOU FIRST!"
"JUST TELL ME WHERE YOU WANT TO GO EAT AND WE WILL GO!"
"NEVERMIND!....LET’S JUST GO HOME AND HAVE BOLOGNA SANDWICHES!!!" -The Couple
To save more aggravation between you and your partner, here are some helpful hints to help you decide where to go eat, when no one else can. The trick is to do it Vegas style!
Get some ten, 8 or six-sided dice that you carry with you, Write the names of your favorite restaurants on the dice. When the faithful question is asked, the dice are rolled and the outcome: bada-boom, bada-bing is the answer!
This result will be a better choice that the option you would have had to have settled for: Neither of you getting what you want. It can make that important decision, and who knows, you might get lucky!
