Texas gas prices stay steady and Midland has the highest gas prices in the state say the latest statistics.

According to the Odessa American, Texas gas prices were steady while nationwide gas prices went down 3 cents.

The average price of gas in the state is $2.27 while people across the country pay an average of $2.49.

Midland was the most expensive gas in the state at an average of $2.52 a gallon. San Antonio was cheapest statewide at $2.16 a gallon.
