Tennis Courts at Permian to Be Named After Former Coach

The tennis courts at Permian High School are soon going to have a name.

According to YourBasin.com, Pat Wikse was a coach at Permian High for 21 years and the tennis courts will now bear his name.

The tennis program was state ranked for many of those years and Wikse was named Coach of the Year in 1991, and was inducted to the Texas High School Tennis Hall of Fame in 2002.

The naming ceremony will be held Thursday May 18 at 5:00 pm.
