Tax Free Weekend in Texas Set For the Weekend of August 5-7

School is starting in about a month and just in time to help with those back to school expenses, Texas is having tax free weekend the first weekend in August.

According to NewsWest 9, there will be no tax on many back to school items such as clothing, shoes, backpacks, and school supplies.

Only stipulation is the items must be under a $100 price tag.

Any items over $100 will still be charged taxes.
