Suspicious Package at Big Spring High School Belonged to a Geokinetic Company

The suspicious package found in the parking lot of Big Spring High School turned out to be a seismic data collection device.

According to NewsWest 9, the device belonged to The Geokinetics Company, a company performing seismic data collection in the Big Spring area.

The devices were also placed by the company in several places all over the city.
