‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Will Officially Be Turned Up to Eleven
Netflix’s Stranger Things left only a few burning questions for Season 2, but perhaps chief among them was the fate of Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven. No one in their right mind thought Season 2 would proceed without its Eggo-loving telekinetic, but rest assured that Stranger Things won’t be bereft of Eleven for very long.
TVline confirmed the Stranger Things Season 2 return least in need of confirmation, though it remains an open question exactly what happened to Eleven, and what brings back the government escapee from her apparent disintegration. Perhaps worth considering, Brown’s involvement in Season 2 was at least somewhat precarious over the summer, as the actor’s father apparently made steep demands of organizations proposing to represent her.
Elsewhere of Stranger Things Season 2, we know shooting will take place in Atlanta from roughly October to April for a 2017 premiere. The story will pick up in the fall of 1984, while creators Matt and Ross Duffer have teased a James Cameron sequel influence in crafting the second chapter. We’ll also learn more about the Demogorgon and Upside Down, as teased in our exclusive concept art piece, while Sadie Sink and Power Rangers star Dacre Montgomery have been added to the cast in regular roles.
More Stranger Things details are surely coming, but will Eleven’s return answer all the big questions?
