These Hilarious Softball Player Stereotypes Are Way Too Relatable
Softball is a great way for men to take a hiatus from their humdrum day-to-day life and engage in some classic American fun.
Well, that’s the idea, anyway.
In reality, teams are flooded with a motley crew of personalities that make you question why you signed up. Seriously, if you needed to get away from the wife and kids for a few hours, maybe a better bet would’ve been to go to a batting cage, a cigar bar or, oh, I don't know, locking yourself in the bathroom and crying in the mirror.
The team at Dude Perfect perfectly depicts the stereotypical players who make recreational softball so darned entertaining. From “The Always on His Phone Guy” to “The Chatter Box” to “Mr. Accessories,” the clip goes around the stereotypes smoother than the ball goes around the horn after a called strike three.
Of course, there are plenty of other stereotypes they missed. If you play softball, you know there’s always the guy who’s always too serious, the guy who’s always late and guy who’s always getting hurt. Is it too much to ask for a part two?
