Back in 2016, it was announced that Chance the Rapper was working on a secret film project with A24 — the acclaimed indie distributors behind recent faves like The Witch, Green Room, and Moonlight. That project is a horror film called Slice, and the studio has released a new teaser trailer for their collaboration with the beloved rapper just in time for Halloween.

The teaser doesn’t show — or tell — us a whole lot about the film, which centers on a mysterious character (that’d be Chance) who is framed for a series of murders targeting pizza delivery guys. That’s literally all we know about Slice, which revealed its first (and even more enigmatic) teaser last fall:

Slice is the feature debut of director Austin Vesely, who’s collaborated with Chance on several music videos. The new teaser is set to a synth-y version of “In the Hall of the Mountain King” and is mostly animated, featuring a little dude on a bike driving over knives and text. You can catch a few short glimpses of the film and some of Chance’s co-stars, including Atlanta breakout Zazie Beetz (also playing Domino in Deadpool 2) and comedian Paul Scheer. Also co-starring in the film are Will Brill and Joe Keery — aka STEEEEVE from Stranger Things.

A24 hasn’t announced a specific release date yet, but it looks like the studio will put Slice out into the world sometime before the end of the year.
