Sheriffs Respond To Rogue Kangaroo Call in Midland County

You can file this one under, ‘You don't see that every day’.

Midland County Sheriff’s officers responded to a call last night about a kangaroo hopping down highway 158. Calls started coming in to the Sheriffs Department about a strange animal, possibly a kangaroo hopping down the highway. Dash-cams were recording when the sheriffs officers rolled upon the joey jumping along the highway. As it turns out, the owner had been searching for him since he escaped.

We've had our share of strange animals exotic animals showing up here in West Texas before.  A few years ago the, authorities were called out to remove and 11 1/2 foot alligator from a stock tank in south Midland County.
