A second set of remains has been found in the garbage pit in Midland County and these are believed to be the remains of a male.

According to NewsWest 9, the remains were found 14 feet deep in the garbage pit where authrities were searching.

There was enough remains found on the body to get a good DNA profile which are on their way to Tarrant County for an autopsy.

Six days into the investigation and excavation of the garbage pits have only given up the two sets of remains, but the Midland County Sheriff's Office believes there are more remains on the property and will continue their search.

15 agents are working in 12-hour shifts to continue digging in the lot for more skeletal remains.

The property owner is still cooperating fully with authorities and is giving them full access to the entire property.

Sheriff Gary Painter says they believe there is another body and will continue the search until that belief is ruled out.
