Santa Rita Hotel Project in Downtown Midland Has Financing in Place

The Santa Rita Hotel project to be places where the old courthouse used to stand has financing in place which means plans are going along on schedule.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, with financing in order for the project, officials say that groundbreaking should happen either in the fourth quarter of this year or first quarter of next year.

The project includeshotel space, a public food market, restaurants, bars, a 400-seat ballroom, office space and four levels of parking.

The project is estimated to cost from $80 million to $100 million.
