Rosa’s is Our Sunday ‘Meeting Place’

Sunday for my family entails going to church and then afterwards, heading someplace for lunch, which usually means Rosa’s. That must be the routine for a lot of folks since I see many of my friends there too!

This Sunday, I saw several members of my own church there, also Kathy and Becky McCraney who are proprietors of Miss Cayce’s Christmas Store. I’ve known the girls for years and love shopping in the store; they always have warm sugar cookies to greet me.

I also saw Congressman Mike Conaway. I think Rosa’s is Mike’s favorite place to eat too since that’s where I always see him when he’s in town.

Even though we’ve had thousands of people move into the area, our city still feels like a small town, which I’m thankful for.
