Yiiikes! Rihanna might be in hot water, following accusations that her song "Bitch Better Have My Money" was stolen from Just Brittany.

Billboard reports that Just Brittany's fans are calling out the similarities between Rihanna's new single and Just Brittany's "Betta Have My Money," which was released in February 2014.

The hooks for both songs definitely sound similar. Additionally, each one repeats the phrase "Bitch better have my money." Of course, there are fans who disagree with the accusations.

Consequence of Sound reports that Kanye West, Travis Scott, Drake affiliate WondaGurl, and Deputy produced Rihanna's track. When the singer dropped her single on March 26, there was no mention of it intentionally referencing Just Brittany's track.

The music plagiarism debate is especially relevant at the moment, with Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams being forced to pay Marvin Gaye's family $7.3 million dollars in the "Blurred Lines" lawsuit. At the time, Thicke, Williams and T.I., who were all charged with copyright infringement, released a joint statement: “While we respect the judicial process, we are extremely disappointed in the ruling made today, which sets a horrible precedent for music and creativity going forward.”

It'll be interesting to see if that ruling affects Rihanna, should these accusations head to court.

While neither Rihanna nor Just Brittany commented on the plagiarism accusations, there's no doubt that the songs definitely sound similar. You can listen for yourself in the audio below.
