When was the last time you played Uno with your kids or parents?  We did this weekend and take one guess who picked it up faster, the 4 1/2 year old or Grandma?

Learning Uno is pretty simple really. All you have to do is match the color or the card symbol. So when the box said ages 7+, we weren't sure how our son would do! We all sat down to the table and passed out the cards face up and explained the game to everyone.

The updated version was pretty much the same but my Mom, who is known as 'Grandma Mouse', was having some issues. The 'skip' card did not say "skip" or have an 'S' so that was not good.

I had a feeling it was going to be very interesting game with the four of us!

Explaining the game to a 4 1/2 year old was simple, match the color, number or symbol.

Explaining the game to Grandma Mouse was hilarious. We were having issues with the matching as well as the draw two and draw four cards.

We played through one whole game with yours truly winning! The second game ended by default when Grandma Mouse thought it was done when the 'skip' card was played! She promptly picked up all the cards while the rest of us were looking a little confused and or sad.

We will play Uno again for sure, it was fun and the only card that Brody wanted to get was the 'skip' card so he could skip me!
