Ahead of Pitch Perfect 2’s arrival this Friday (May 15), one of the film’s stars, Brittany Snow, visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier today (May 11).

The actress told Ellen that after long film shoots featuring intensive singing, the Pitch Perfect ladies would unwind with...still more singing. DeGeneres learned that Snow’s go-to karaoke jam is Coolio’s 1995 classic, "Gangsta’s Paradise," and asked the actress to serenade the studio audience with her rendition. Snow obliged and the results are hilarious -- watch above.

Snow has a firm handle on all of Coolio’s lyrics, but naturally, the delivery is all her own: very precise diction paired with some stiff dance moves. Stay tuned until the very end when Snow returns to her seat next to DeGeneres, because -- in a move perfectly suited to her performance of the Coolio song -- Snow doesn’t so much drop the mic; it more just kind of rolls off the table.

A new clip from the upcoming sequel surfaced at the end of April, depicting Anna Kendrick’s character emotionally reflecting on her time with the Barden Bellas around a campfire before singing the first Pitch Perfect movie's breakout hit, “Cups.”

Though Pitch Perfect 2 hasn’t even hit theaters yet, there are already rumors that there will be a third installment — Rebel Wilson reportedly told the LA Times as much during an interview last month.
