Pink‘s 2006 “Stupid Girls” video may be chock full o’ jabs at her fellow early-aughts pop stars, but these days, she says she’s much more mindful of taking shots at her contemporaries. Things are getting way too vicious, she says.

The “What About Us” singer, whose new Beautiful Trauma drops today (October 13), tells The Guardian in a new interview that “girl-on-girl violence” in the pop sphere has become way too pervasive, and that it’s making her anxious.

“I hate [the feuds],” she says. “I despise how readily available they are. That’s the only thing I’m a little more thoughtful about [these days].”

P!nk, who assured fans her own feud with Christina Aguilera ended years ago, added that her new album is a reflection of how maddening things have become, especially since a particularly divisive election season.

“That’s why I named the album Beautiful Trauma, because life is f—— traumatic,” she says. “There’s natural disasters at every turn and there’s kids starving and there’s Trump and there’s all kinds of stuff going on, but there’s beautiful people in the world that are having a blast and being good to each other and helping others. Because I can be dark, I try to constantly remind myself that there’s more good than bad.”
