Mariah Carey’s ‘The House’ Costar Says She Was Super Difficult To Work With

Celebrities, they can be picky. Maybe their contract requires all the yellow Skittles to be picked out of the candy dish, or that their dressing room has one specific brand of sparkling water at all times. I’ll never forget the story my mom would always recount about the time she worked with Barbra Streisand where the musician forbade the crew from making eye contact with her, including the cameraperson. (Dear Miss Streisand, please don’t sue my mom and I.) But the latest rumors surrounding a well known celeb and their on-set behavior point to Mariah Carey. According to an actor from the upcoming comedy The House, Carey wasn’t the easiest person to work with.

‘Baywatch’ Review: This Might Actually Be Worse Than the TV Show

One of the least funny running jokes in the new Baywatch movie — which is really saying something because there are a lot of unfunny running jokes in the new Baywatch movie — involves these lifeguards constantly inserting themselves into all sorts of situations that fall well beyond their jurisdiction. They refer to laughable old cases that have nothing to do with rescuing drowners, a nod to the old Baywatch TV show that serves as the film’s source material and chief target. Michael Bay to Remotely Blow Up America’s Enemies in ‘Drone Warrior’

For better and for worse, Michael Bay is America. His work is loud, dumb but mounted on a scale that all but demands respect, all jacked up on patriotism, continuously tolerant of Mark Wahlberg, easily distracted by large shiny objects, and more than anything, enamored of explosions. Bay’s not the greatest living filmmaker, but he may be the most fundamentally American, and he’s about to make that comparison an eensy bit more literal with a new project focused on the nasty business of war. Specifically, that newest and most unsettling form of automated combat, drone warfare.

GLAAD’s Latest Study Shows LGBTQ People Were Nearly Invisible in Hollywood in 2016

Last year, I wrote the following headline for GLAAD’s annual study of LGBTQ representation in mainstream movies in 2015: “GLAAD Study Finds LGBT Representation In Hollywood Isn’t Getting Any Better.” I was hoping this year’s headline would reflect some improvement, yet almost nothing has changed.

This Time Tom Cruise Isn’t the Only One Screaming in a New Clip and Featurette from ‘The Mummy’

Tom Cruise’s The Mummy is about to hit theaters and launch a new cinematic universe, which, arguably, was the first cinematic universe ever, according to Mummy director Alex Kurtzman in a new featurette. Universal seems pretty optimistic about the quality of The Mummy (or they wouldn’t have announced this whole shared universe thing just yet), which makes us hopeful too. And, come on, Tom Cruise has been in, like, maybe two truly terrible movies throughout his career.
