Dr. Noah Wempe stopped by the Morning Show to talk about the the importance of women getting proper screenings for breast cancer and the services available through the Allison Imaging Center.

October is 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month' and October 17 is National Mammography Day. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Early detection is the key to survival is potentially deadly disease. Unfortunately, only about 27% of women age 40 and over in Midland received their mammogram in 2013. The average in Texas as a whole is above 50%.

Dr. Noah Wimpy of the Allison Imaging Center stopped by to talk about the importance of early detection and what we all can do to get the women we care about in for screening.
