Odessa Animal Shelter Names New Director

The Odessa Animal Shelter has been without a director since the former director resigned and was arrested for taking more than $2000 in pet adoption funds.

According to NewsWest 9, the new director will be Maribel Vasquez who has served as adoption coordinator and was also named Interim Director back in April.

She officially began duties as director on Friday.
