Number of Scams in the Basin Have Increased

Police report says scams have been on the rise and mostly with the younger generation of adults in the Basin.

According to YourBasin.com, most of the scams have been phone scams and the complaints in the area seem to be coming from younger victims.

Older people have dealt with scams for many years so they are less likely to fall for most scams.

Police say to let any call you don't know go over to voicemail and then if it is someone you know or it is important, they will leave a message in most cases.
