No shave November is back! Put down the razors and grow out that facial hair (or leg hair if you're a female)!

November has become popular for the month long men’s health charity event called “No Shave November”.

The event most likely got it's start in 2003:
'Two friends Travis Garone and Luke Slattery from Melbourne Australia were drinking some beers at local pub when they started discussing the ebb and flow of fashion trends. Then it happened. Where had the mustache, “Mo”, gone? It seemed that the mo had lost its Joe!... Over the next few years they had so much fun that they decided to turn Movember into an opportunity to raise funds for men’s health causes. First, they took on Prostate cancer, unofficially partnering with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA). Later they would add mental health as well, including depression. Movember caught on and is ranked in the top 100 best NGOs (charity) in the world by the Global Journal based on three key main criteria: impact, innovation and sustainability. To put that in context, there are an estimated 5 million NGOs around the world.' -inquisitr.com

The rules according to most sources are simple: No shaving of the face for males and no shaving of the legs and/or underarms for females. I hear it's quite popular among the girls in France!
