Nicki Minaj and Cardi B both dressed fierce at Monday night's (May 7) Met Gala, but it wasn't their stunning outfits that got fans talking — it was the fact that the two rappers were caught on camera chatting it up during the soiree, and then posing for a selfie together.

The New York-bred emcees have had some ongoing beef after both appearing on Migos' "MotorSport" in 2017. Last month, Minaj opened up about the feud during an interview with Zane Lowe.

“With ‘MotorSport,’ I kinda felt ambushed,” she explained. “The first thing that came out of [Cardi's] mouth about a Nicki Minaj feature was ‘oh, she changed the verse’ … When it was time to clear the air about that, no one did that. All of them allowed me to look like I lied.”

She continued to explain how she felt like Cardi didn't give her "genuine love" during interviews, saying: "I could just imagine how many girls wish they could have been on a song with Nicki Minaj," she explained. "I’m not saying in it a cocky way, but...it’s because of the Nicki hate train that she felt the comfortability to address me in that manner.”

Last night's events make it look like the ladies put the past behind them, and fans couldn't be happier. Check out some of our favorite responses below.
