New Record High Set in Midland/Odessa on Saturday

It is still a couple of days before the official first day of summer, but temperatures in Midland/Odessa are already reflecting the heat of summer.

According to NewsWest 9, the high on Saturday hit 111 degrees breaking the previous record high of 108 set back in 2011.

Many areas of West Texas reached 110 and above on Saturday but relief came in as a cool front, that has temperatures back to the 90's for today.
