Museum of the Southwest is Closing the Children’s Museum For Expansion

The Museum of the Southwest in Midland is going through a change to expand it's children's museum.

According to NewsWest 9, the Fredda Turner Durham Children's Museum will be closing to prepare for an expansion.

The museum will continue the Children's Art Education Programming during the renovations and will also be expanding next year.

While expansion is going on family-friendly activities and toddler specific activities will be held in the Turner Memorial Art Museum and the Blakemore Planetarium.

There is no word yet on when the expansion will be complete.
