Several musical groups have either disbanded, gone on hiatus or lost a member over the past few months. But while change can often be disappointing, it at least paves the way for the groups' individual members' possible solo stardom.

The question now is: Whose potential 2017 solo release are you most excited to hear?

Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello laid the groundwork for her eventual solo career early on, writing and performing with Shawn Mendes on the track "I Know What You Did Last Summer," back in 2015. She then went on to feature on Machine Gun Kelly's "Bad Things," and ultimately quit 5H in December 2016 to head out on her own. Suffice to say, a Cabello solo album is imminent.

Beloved K-pop group 2NE1 devastated fans when they announced their disbandment in November 2016, leaving CL ample room to drop a full-length solo album after releasing several singles (including 2016's "Lifted") already.

And we'd be remiss to ignore the majority of One Direction's former members -- Zayn Malik parted ways with the group long before they announced the dreaded indefinite hiatus, but rumor has it he'll release a followup to his 2016 debut Mind of Mine in 2017.

Niall Horan, meanwhile, dropped his first solo single -- the weepy guitar-driven ballad "This Town" -- in late 2016, indicating a full-length album isn't too far behind. Louis Tomlinson also made his debut as a solo artist with "Just Hold On," a collaboration with Steve Aoki.

And finally, Liam Payne appears to have something up his sleeve, as reports claim his solo music is "coming soon."

(Sidenote: Harry Styles doesn't quite make the cut as he's too busy gearing up for that 2018 Oscar win, currently.)

Cast your vote in the poll below for the solo album you're most clamoring to get your hands on in 2017.
