Miranda Kerr can now add "former Victoria's Secret Angel" to her resume as the model has confirmed that she no longer works for the lingerie retailer.

Previous reports said that Kerr's three-year contract wasn't renewed due to a decline in popularity and a "difficult reputation," but as with most things, Kerr has a completely different take on this story.

As the 30-year-old native Australian told the Sydney Morning Herald, "The thing is, I've been modeling since I was 13. I'm now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time."

She's "grateful" to VS for launching her career here in the States and she'll still work with the company when she's able, but she's "just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time."

Kerr is busy raising her 2-year-old son with her husband, actor Orlando Bloom, and taking on other projects -- she's in the middle of writing her second book, pitching her successful Kora Organics skin care line, and working on campaigns for companies like Qantas Airways and Reebok.

As for those whispers that she's a pain to have around? Miranda had something to say about that too.

"I'm sure anyone that has worked with me would agree that it's not true."
