Midland YMCA Raises Over $10,000 at Barbecue Fund Raiser

The Midland YMCA held a barbecue fund raiser to help out families in need on Saturday (August 25, 2018) and raised over $10,000.

According to NewsWest 9, YMCA officials said they did it for families who could not afford their programs.

The event had bouncy houses, face painting, and of course barbecue where they held a cook-out competition.

Eight companies participated in the cook-out competition and also to help give their support to the YMCA and the community.

The YMCA said they will do this fund raiser again next year.
