Midland Planning and Zoning Commission Approves New Dollar General East of Town

Midland PZC has approved a new location of Dollar General that causes controversy.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, residents in the area of Todd Dr. next to Green Acres Miniature Golf have opposed the new Dollar General location.

The residents say that Todd Dr. cannot support the amount of traffic that will be caused by the store.

Commissioners approved the new construction in a 5-0 vote but residents say they will continue to try to stop the Dollar General from building there.
