Midland Mothers Stage “Nurse-In” at Midland Park Mall

Don't anger mothers in the Permian Basin, because they will show you who is the momma.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, the "nurse-in" was scheduled because two weeks ago a mother was nursing her child in the mall and was mocked and had video taken of her by some young men.

They also called her a slut and other derogatory words. Local mothers got word of this from social media and decided to stage the event.

Midland Park Mall also joined in and organized a Mothers Health Event with Midland Memorial Hospital, Lactation Services of the Permian Basin (LSPB), and The Breast Connection providing lactation and nursing consultants plus specialists on hand to answer questions.
