MISD officials are still pondering over what to do now that the TRE was voted down earlier this month.

According to NewsWest 9, the school district is still looking at 6.7 million in cuts because of the rejection of the TRE, but teachers having to pay an additional $100 on their insurance may not be one of the things they have to implement.

School board president Rick Davis says it is not out of the running but they might be able to steer away form it with a new budget.
