Eddie Ray Routh, the convicted killer of American Sniper Chris Kyle, was in an appellate court in Eastland County this week.

The 11th District Court of Appeals issued their opinion in April that there was no error in the trial and that Routh will be denied any further rehearings of his case.

Routh was sentenced to life without parole after being convicted of Chris Kyle's murder.
