Lyft and Budweiser Team Up To Fight Drunk Driving in Texas

Lyft and Budweiser are teaming up to prevent drunk driving by offering free rides in several states including Texas.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, beginning this Thursday, Budweiser will offer 150,000 free round trips through the ride share service Lyft until the end of the year in Texas and eight other states.

They will offer 10,000 trips every weekend through the end of the year to help curb drinking and driving in Texas, New York, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Washington, DC.

To get the free ride you have to follow Budweiser's Facebook and Instagram pages and wait for codes to be announced at 1:00 p.m.

The code will be good for up to $10 per ride.
