Lindsay Lohan is finally ready to talk about the now-infamous video of her getting punched after accusing a homeless family of human trafficking.

The 32-year-old, recently pegged for a spread in Paper Magazine, opened up about the incident months after it occurred. She claims she wasn't trying to kidnap the children, but rather read the situation wrong. Lohan approached the family, believed to be refugees from Syria, offering to take the children back to her hotel.

She told Paper her initial reaction was to take the incident, which was caught on her Instagram live, and "erase it and throw it in the trash." Lohan declined to say much more about it, but did tell the magazine it was a misunderstanding on her part.

"I read the situation wrong. I've learned from it. And that's all I have to say," she said through a rep.

While it seems Lohan doesn't want to talk about the incident, it continues to be brought up on social media with each new piece of news that surrounds her. In the video, the once-troubled actress accused the children's parents of human trafficking. The mother punched and pushed her after she attempted to grab the hand of one of the children, which left Lohan on the ground in hysterics.

"I won't leave until I take you. Now I know who you are. Don't f--- with me," she said in the clip. "They're trafficking children...You're ruining Arabic culture by doing this."

Lohan has been accused of kidnapping by people on social media, but she maintains that her intentions were good.
