Long gone are the days of lengthy auditions or meetings with producers — if you want roles in big-time movies, you may as well just slide info those DMs.

In a new interview with Buzzfeed, Tyra Banks said that fans of 2000 Disney Channel Original Movie Life-Size are in luck, because it's coming to "whatever screen you use this Christmas, this Kwanza, this Hanukkah, this holiday season."

Plus, Banks said you can expect Llindsay Lohan, who played the movie's sharp-tongued teen Casey, to resurrect her role. And Lohan's method of recruitment was definitely in keeping with the times, Banks said.

"Lindsay slides into those DMs, I be seeing you, girl," Banks said. "I slid into hers first, to be honest, cause I was like 'Yo, I'm producing Life-Size 2, are you down?' And she was like 'Oh, I'm down to the down,' like she's so down. So we're working on the script now, and I'm telling the writer I don't want her to just have a cameo. I feel like she was just as important to Life-Size as I was...I think she would play herself grown up."

Banks, who said Life-Size 2 will definitely be less of a children's movie than its predecessor, also said she's angling to get some all-star talent to rework the film's theme song.

"I am on the search for a high-level producer — DJ Khaled — that will remix or redo the 'Be a Star' song...And I'm hoping whoever this producer is — DJ Khaled — would come and just make it the club banger where you just wanna shoop till you drop," she said.

Life-Size, written and directed by Mark Rosman, centered on Lohan's Casey character, who tried to use magic to bring her late mother back to life. Accidentally, though, Casey brought her doll Eve (Banks) to life while her mother remained deceased.
