Lab Grown Meat??? Yuck! Are you a Fan? Here’s the Deets

FDA has approved the very controversial Lab-Grown Meat in America. What is it? It is fake meat produced in a laboratory also known as synthetic meat?!

The of the first products produced was cultivated chicken that was approved in 2020 in Singapore and in 2023 in the United States by the Company Good Meats, a cultivated meat brand company.

They are also working on other types of cultivated meats such as beef patties made from cells from cattle.  They also produce vegetable based patties here a participant of a cooking workshop  prepares nuggets made of chestnuts, beans and mushrooms.

Italy has become the first country to ban cultivated meat for many reasons, including protecting the farming industry and the health of the citizens of Italy. Florida State Rep. Tyler Sirois has introduced a proposal to prohibit "manufacturing or distribution of cultivated meat" in the state of Florida.

I like to think of myself as a level headed person, I can understand the vegetable based products for people with health issues or vegetarians but I do not understand creating synthetic artificial Lab Grown meat??? Why?  Farmers have been raising livestock from chickens to cows for centuries. It is a very important part of our economy and 100% natural.  With that being said, it's time for a double cheeseburger cut the onions.
