While entertaining a booming crowd yesterday (February 17) at Manchester Academy in Manchester, UK, Khalid pressed pause on his program once he spotted a mini fan crying tears in the crowd.

"Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry!" the 20-year-old R&B singer pleaded in a video capturing the moment on Twitter, before handing his mic over to security and climbing down from the stage to comfort the young audience member, a little girl of no more than 8- or 9-years-old whom he noticed shedding tears as he was beginning his next set.

Not long after, the Georgia-born crooner took to Twitter to reflect on the moment he shared with the little fan. "I saw her crying and had to jump down she was the cutest in the world," he tweeted. "She was like 8."

Once the video footage from yesterday's show surfaced online, fans of the Grammy-nominated "Love Lies" singer rushed to Twitter to express their appreciation, dubbing the vocalist's latest act of generosity the most heartwarming gesture they'd watched all day.

"That was the cutest sh-t ever!! i mean wow khalid appreciates his fans so so much. HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE HIM??????" wrote one user. "Khalid, whatever you do don't change ever," commented another.
