The paparazzo Justin Bieber rolled over with his truck Wednesday night (July 26) is taking the accident on the chin (and the foot and the legs).

Maurice Lamont, a photographer and paparazzo, was waiting outside of the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills when he saw Bieber get into his truck, start the vehicle and leave. On the way out of the driveway, though, Bieber accidentally struck Lamont and sent him in the hospital. Still, in an Instagram video Lamont has since uploaded, he says he doesn't hold the collision against the singer.

"Hour before my birthday hits, I get ran over by Justin Bieber. Isn’t that something?" he joked in a clip uploaded from a gurney. "He’s a good kid, though. I think the truck was a little bit too big for him, though, because there’s no way he could see over the front — it was the slope it was on. But like I said, he got out, he was compassionate, he’s a good kid, accidents happen."

To Bieber's credit, he immediately jumped out of the car when he noticed he'd struck Lamont and waited about 10 minutes for paramedics to arrive. Police ultimately did not cite Bieber, and Lamont has also described him as "compassionate" in the wake of the accident.
