This is one of my favorite things to post for you every week: Forgotten Oldie Friday!

Today I'll start of with a song I played during the show the Morning Show, Tommy Tutone's '867-5309 (Jenny)'!  It peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #1 on the Billboard Top Tracks chart in 1982.

It was on this day in 1988 that the Cars disbanded. From the 1981 album of the same name, here's 'Shake It Up'

'Vacation' was the second album by rock band The Go-Go's, released in 1982. The album got to #8 in the U.S. Billboard 200, and was certified gold. The "Vacation" title track was a U.S. summer smash, reaching #8 on the Billboard pop singles chart.

This band was formed by a group of studio musicians who knew they could make it. 'Africa' is one of the band's most recognizable songs. It was included on their 1982 album Toto IV, and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in February 1983.
