Have you Heard of the Cadillac Ranch?
If taking a road trip across Texas means you'll be traveling along the iconic Route 66, you'll be up for a treat when you reach Amarillo and the Cadillac Ranch.
Originally an art installation placed in a wheat field, in 1997 the sculpture was moved to a cow pasture, and now the public art piece is altered frequently by passersby who tag it with spray paint.
In the video above, Stanley Marsh III, describes the original intention behind the piece created by the art group Ant Farm.
It's become a poplular destination for travelers and road trippers for a variety of reasons. Some visit to see it, others to participate in the art, and some have even tried to pole vault over the caddies.
