Get Ready for the Inaugural '5K Hot Dog Fun Run'!

The Midland Humane Coalition is hosting its first ever '5K Hot Dog Fun Run & 1K and 9K Walk'!

The event happens Saturday June 13th at Midland College. The start times for the 5K is at 7:30AM, with and entry fee of $30. The 1K Walk starts at 8:30AM for $20.

Midland Humane Coalition is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose Mission is to partner with the citizens of Midland to end euthanasia of adoptable animals in Midland and in the Permian Basin.

If you don't have a dog, no worries! The Midland Humane Coalition will let you rent a dog for just $10! There'll be contests for the best trick, cutest dog, biggest dog, littlest dog, best costume and 'Look Like Owner'.

They'll even be a shot clinic by Town& Country and micro chipping by the City of Midland.
