Friday Morning Traffic Jam on I-20 in Odessa Caused By 18 Wheeler Rollover

Traffic in Odessa was slowed to a crawl on I-20 after an 18 wheeler rollover earlier in the morning.Odessa Police responded to the scene of an 18 wheeler rollover on Interstate 20, west of the Grandview exit that happened just after 3 a.m. According OPD, the investigation revealed that the tanker truck lost control and flipped, causing approximately 1000 gallons of crude oil to spill near the median.

Both east and west bound lanes are currently shut down, motorists must exit the interstate.

The driver has been taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injures.
