Eminem is repaying Skylar Grey for co-writing his smash hit 'Love the Way You Lie' by executive-producing her new album and singing — yes, singing — the hook of Queen's 'Bicycle Race' on Grey's new single. Eminem playing the role of Freddie Mercury? We can't wait to hear this.

The song is called 'C'Mon Let Me Ride,' and Grey says the idea for using the Queen lines came from the rapper. "That was an Eminem move," she confirms. "The first time I heard his verse, he had added that part in as well and it made me laugh, so we kept it." Why not just sample the actual Queen track? "I love hearing Marshall change his voice like that and just, like, be a character, play a character, so I thought that was funnier, personally."

Grey describes the track as a criticism of "overly sexified music, media and the girls who try and imitate it." She says the rapper helped her grow as an artist by getting in touch with her goofy side. "I've learned from Em I can have more fun. He's very sarcastic and makes me laugh all the time and there are parts of my attitude I have in person but I've never shown in a song. I feel like he showed me I don't have to be afraid to show that side."

Grey's debut was originally set to come out last year under the awkward title 'Invinsible,' but the album was scrapped despite the release of videos for 'Invisible' and 'Dance Without You.' Grey says she and Jimmy Iovine decided to postpone the album until she felt it was perfect.

"He said, 'Look, this is your first album; it has to be exactly what you want it to be,'" Grey says of her conversation with the Interscope exec. "So we mutually agreed to slow down the whole process and let me take my time finishing the songs until I felt like it was there." The revamped edition, called 'Don't Look Down,' hits stores in Spring 2013.

Eminem, for one, has high hopes for 'Don't Look Down.' "This album is really going to give her a chance to connect with the fans who probably know her music but might not know her yet," he says via press release. "I think they will be as impressed as I am."
