You might have seen them in some of your favorite fast-food establishments, here come the touchscreen beverage vending machines!

At first glance, the idea seems great: Just punch up the particular variety of of soft-drink you want and BAM!, there it is. And to the iPad/smartphone generation that might be true. But to the uninitiated it can mean literally minutes working you way through a menu and numerous variety of items, over 120 in fact. It makes for a great variety of choices, but sometime an unnecessarily long line at the dispenser.
