The decision has been made, and the Rupaul's Drag Race: All-Stars Hall of Fame has found its newest and third inductee. Still, many show fans insist it should be off with her head where the newly crowned queen is concerned.

On Thursday night's (March 15) finale, the remaining four contestants battled through a live, one-take music video extravaganza as part of a last-ditch effort to impress the panel of judges and earn the show's coveted crown. Trixie Mattel, Shangela, Bebe Zahara Benet and Kennedy Davenport all put up killer performances. Still, considering the queens' respective track records across the season, most fans expected the title would ultimately boil down to a battle between Shangela and Trixie, who'd accumulated the most wins across the season and who had cultivated the most impressive careers outside of the show.

Sadly, things didn't go exactly as planned.

In a brand new twist — MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD — Ru revealed that the show's previously eliminated contestants would serve as a panel that would collectively decide which two queens of the remaining four would advance to lip-sync for the crown, and which two would be left behind as runners-up.

Again, a Shangela/Trixie matchup seemed like a sure thing, but after a series of sit-down interviews with the finalists, the eliminated queens ultimately nominated ***Kennedy*** and Trixie to serve as the final two, leaving fans totally gobsmacked. The idea that Shangela — who had earned the most wins and highest praise across the season — could have been overlooked seemed impossible (It was later revealed that — insanely — Thorgy Thor was the only eliminated queen who had nominated Shangela to advance). And while fans were happy for Trixie for ultimately besting Kennedy for the crown, they were not so on board with Trixie's path to the throne.

And they let the Twitterverse know it.
