Don’t Believe the Hype of a Gas Shortage

Many people were stuck in long lines yesterday amid fears of a shortage of gas in our area due to Hurricane Harvey.

According to NewsWest 9, those rumors of a gas shortage was just that, rumors.

Officials with the Texas Railroad Commission say we have plenty of gasoline in a surplus and there is no need for alarm.

Most fearing the worst have caused a surge that put a strain on the gas supplies locally which does make it seem like a gas shortage is imminent.

But no fear, the gas shortage is just a hoax, so there is no need to stock up on gas and invest in your own storage tank.
