The Simpsonswhich accidentally forecasted Donald Trump's ascendance to the United States presidency in an episode that aired 17 years ago, seems to be atoning for its unfortunate soothsaying, and tears No. 45 to shreds in a brand new digital short.

The clip, called "100 Days," finds Marge and Homer watching Trump tackle his duties as Commander in Chief, which include neglecting to read any reports, moving to legalize the shooting of bears and watching his daughter, Ivanka, usurp Ruth Bader Ginsburg's spot on the Supreme Court.

Eventually, the scene recedes back to Marge and Homer who are on the couch, and Marge has to take a prescription narcotic just to cope with the madness.

"Marge, please, give the President of the United States some time," Homer says. "He's only 70-years-old."

Finally, a mock TV reporter takes over the ad and says what many Americans are thinking: "100 days — we are 6.8 percent of the way home. Paid for by Anybody Else 2020."

In November, the Simpsons team reacted to their own prediction that Trump would eventually become president from an episode that aired way back in 2000.

“...that just seemed like the logical last stop before hitting bottom,” Dan Greaney said. “It was pitched because it was consistent with the vision of America going insane.”
